We install paving for patios, pathways, entrances and seating areas across Dundalk and Co. Louth, both as standalone projects and as part of larger landscaping work.

Most paving failures are caused by poor groundwork rather than the slabs themselves. We excavate correctly, compact the base properly and make sure drainage falls are planned before any paving is laid.

Types of paving we regularly install include:

  • Indian sandstone

  • Porcelain paving

  • Concrete slabs

  • Granite paving

  • Decorative borders

  • Garden pathways

  • Patio areas

  • Stepping stone layouts

Different materials suit different properties and budgets. Porcelain works well for modern low-maintenance gardens, while sandstone often suits older homes and more natural garden layouts.

Important things we consider during paving installation:

  • Correct excavation depth

  • Base compaction

  • Drainage falls

  • Water runoff

  • Edge restraint

  • Ground movement

  • Access for machinery

Drainage is especially important in Irish gardens where heavy rain can quickly expose poor groundwork. Water should always move away from paving naturally rather than pooling around the house or patio.

Many paving projects are completed alongside fencing, sleeper beds, lawns or drainage work to create a more complete outdoor space.

For quotations, we usually ask clients to send photos along with rough measurements if available. Site visits are arranged for larger patio and paving projects.
